Consider Your Options

Restoring full arch dental implants in Worthington, OH provides several advantages over other tooth replacement solutions, such as conventional dentures. Although we offer the highest quality full and partial dentures that are designed to fit snugly against your gums, ongoing bone loss can lead to gum irritation and slippage. All denture-wearing patients need to limit the foods they eat and some experience speech issues. Because full mouth dental implants replace your natural tooth roots, they fit and function like natural teeth, preserve the underlying bone and stimulate new bone growth.

Removable implant-supported dentures (also called hybrid dentures) stabilized by two or more dental implants can restore 60% of dental function, while fixed All-on-X full arch dental implants can restore 99% of oral function and beauty. Since they’re permanently attached to dental implants that fuse with your underlying bone, you’ll never have to worry again about slippage, messy adhesives, cleaning solutions, painful gums, speech problems, or limiting the foods you eat!

Your Journey To A Restored Smile Starts Now

1

Step One: Consultation and Planning

Your full mouth dental implant restoration starts with an in-depth conversation with our team about your smile restoration goals, a review of your dental and medical history, an oral exam, and diagnostic imaging. In addition to digital X-rays, we use an I-CAT™ cone beam computed tomography scanner for more in-depth analysis. This sophisticated scanner provides highly detailed images of underlying anatomic structures including your jawbone, nerve tissue, and sinus cavities. About 150–200 images created in less than a minute are compiled into a single 3D picture that she uses to precisely plan your dental implant surgery.

Step Two: Precise Dental Implant Restoration

Once your implants are placed at a 45-degree angle throughout your jawbone to ensure optimal support, we’ll give your mouth time to heal. During this healing process, your dental implants will fuse with your jawbone through a process known as osseointegration. Once healed, we’ll attach an abutment to connect your final restoration to and schedule you two weeks out to give your abutments time to heal.

Step Three: Final Restoration and New Beginnings

Your implant restoration process will begin with our prosthodontists attaching a complete, strong, and custom-made restoration to your dental implants. Once placed, your smile will be revealed for the first time! With proper home care, regular dental visits, and a regimented hygiene routine, your dental implants have the ability to last for decades!
